As the Charter President of Rotary Club of Jodhpur Sanskar, it gives me immense happiness to send my heartfelt good wishes to the current team President Vibha Bhoot and Secretary Taruna Chouhan for a Rotary year filled with purpose, fellowship, and meaningful service.
When we began this journey with 99 enthusiastic ladies, the dream was to create not just another club, but a strong community of women who would come together to build friendships, support one another, and contribute to the larger good of society. Looking at how far the club has come today, I feel proud and grateful that this vision continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
During my Rotary year, we had the privilege of hosting events that blended service, culture, and fellowship in a truly unique way. The Heritage Walk was especially close to my heart—it showcased the charm of old Jodhpur, celebrated our rich heritage, and created awareness about the hidden gems of our beloved city.
Alongside it, events like the Dandiya Night, WOW Children’s Festival, and the Cyclothon added vibrancy to the year, bringing people together with joy, energy, and the spirit of giving back. These occasions were not just events; they were moments that strengthened the bonds among members and connected our club with the larger community.
It was also a matter of great honor that our club received the most number of awards in the district that year. This recognition was not for me alone, but for every single member who gave their heart and soul to make our beginning so memorable.
Together, we proved that when women come together with passion, dedication, and fellowship, they can create a legacy that inspires for years to come. I am deeply proud of what we started, and even more proud to see the torch being carried forward with such brilliance today.
Warm regards,
Rtn. Alka Beniwal
Charter President
Dear Altruistic Fellow Rotarians,
As the new Rotary year dawns, so do the new hopes and new service motives shape. Rotarians have been bringing about a difference in the global society since the year 1905.
We were just a 2-year-old club in 2017 when I assumed the stewardship as the Rotary Sanskar President. It was a position of great responsibility coupled with the joy of service, and honestly speaking, it remains one of the most fulfilling chapters of my Rotary journey.
From raising generous amounts for donation to the deserving to bringing about a change in society at the grassroots level, our team put the best foot forward. We substantiated “Sanskar” as the thriving and established name in Jodhpur in its foundation years.
There are ample projects I wish to mention which are historically etched in the domains of service, but I won’t overload you, let me just share a few highlights.
Our ambitious education projects fruited effectively in various government and other schools. From fulfilling the basics like girls’ toilet repairs to furnishing them with smart boards, we accomplished a full circle.
A mega event that stays close to my heart and still fresh in Jodhpur’s memory was “CYCLOTHON”. 1400 cyclists pedaling around 23 kms at 6 am was a sight to behold. We rented all cycles possible in the Jodhpur city, and yet people insisted on arranging more. Such was the enthusiasm for the event.
When an 8-year-old beautiful girl Vishakha smiled again because we helped her with a donation for her kidney transplant, our purpose smiled too.
While we worked hard for medical service revolution, we also worked generously for road safety.
I wish to also mention our remarkable “Togetherland” public event that brought families together. The congregation was huge and the notoriety was momentous.
During our stewardship year Gift a Smile project, gathered maximum contribution and delivered impactful change in society. It remains one of the proudest works of us.
Guru Kripa Mansik Vikasit Gruh was finding to pay electricity bills challenging. I still can feel the satisfaction we felt after installation of solar panels there. We helped them for long term in an efficient way while saving the environment too.
Fellowship bloomed in that year and bonds grew stronger. I still cherish the spirit of teamwork we enjoyed and deeply treasure each and every member’s dedicated and pure-hearted contribution and involvement.
I feel immense pride in witnessing how the vision and initiatives we set in motion have been carried forward with such dedication. To see those efforts not only sustained but also expanded is deeply gratifying, and it reaffirms the collective spirit that defines Rotary.
To the current year office bearers: I extend my heartfelt best wishes. Dream for the sky and strengthen the roots. May this tenure rock with new successes and benchmark service. Keep up the spirit of fellowship and spread the “sanskaar” of our Club Rotary Sanskar wherever you go.
We are meant to shine and so shall we!
Always Yours in Rotary

Dear President Vibha and Fellow Rotarians,
At the start of this Rotary year, I extend my heartfelt good wishes to you and your team. May this year be filled with meaningful service, stronger fellowship, and many milestones that bring pride to our club.
Looking back on my year as President, I feel grateful that the vision we worked on—to strengthen membership, enhance our public image, and aim for new benchmarks—continues to be carried forward with such commitment. It is heartening to see how each successive team builds on the legacy of the previous one, ensuring our club grows stronger with every passing year.
Among the many memories, a few highlights remain close to my heart: leading our club to become a 100% PHF-recognized club, achieving the highest awards at the district level, setting a record in the India Book of Records with our Ghoomar initiative, welcoming 14 new members to our Rotary family, and showcasing the best of Rotary through strong public image efforts. These achievements were possible only through the collective spirit of our members, and they continue to inspire me.
Wishing you and the entire team a Rotary year filled with impactful service and enduring fellowship.
In Rotary,
PP Meghna Virendra Rajpurohit
President (2018 – 2019)
Dear President Vibha and Fellow Rotarians,
I wish President Vibha and her team all the very best for a successful and impactful Rotary year ahead. May your leadership bring fresh energy, innovative projects, and lasting contributions to our community.
Looking back, my presidential year was during the unprecedented times of COVID-19 — a period filled with challenges, uncertainties, and limitations. Yet, as a club, we proved that Rotary’s spirit of “Service Above Self” cannot be locked down. We adapted, we innovated, and we carried forward our vision of service with resilience and determination.
The project very near to my heart was the Notebook Donation Drive, which became our signature initiative in Rotary District 3053 that year. Over 1,00,000 notebooks were distributed to schoolchildren in government schools across Jodhpur and nearby areas — making it the largest notebook donation drive in the district. More than 20,000 students benefitted. This was not just a project; it was a ray of hope for those who had left school due to a lack of basic stationery. Our club members personally visited various schools to ensure these notebooks reached the children who needed them the most.
It fills me with pride to see that the seeds of commitment sown during that difficult year continue to grow under the able leadership of successive presidents. Vibha, I am confident that you and your team will take this vision further and inspire many more to join hands in making a difference.
Wishing you strength, wisdom, and success in every step ahead.
Yours in Rotary,
Rtn. Ellora Bhandari
Past President (2019 – 2020)
We concentrated on health awareness programs, vaccination camps, and medical check-ups to benefit hundreds of families.
Dear President Vibha and Fellow Rotarians,
Wishing you the very best as you take the club forward. Your dedication and vision are truly inspiring, and I am confident that under your leadership, our club will achieve even greater heights. Here’s to a successful and rewarding journey ahead!
As I reflected on my tenure as President, I felt immense pride in the many initiatives we undertook together — from organizing meaningful events and expanding member participation, to launching impactful projects and strengthening our community presence. That journey was deeply rewarding, and I remain grateful to each member whose teamwork and commitment made it all possible.
Serving as President was an incredible honor. During my term, we created a vibrant and empowering space for service and fellowship through a range of impactful activities, including:
- Organized women’s empowerment seminars and leadership workshops
- Conducted skill-based training programs for underprivileged women at CAZRI
- Delivered interactive sessions on entrepreneurship, health, and hygiene to build awareness and confidence
- Organized awareness camps and invited experts to conduct sessions on important issues
- Led outreach programs to support women and children with special needs, including the distribution of assistive devices
- Celebrated cultural events and milestones that strengthened unity and fellowship within the club
We also carried out meaningful service projects such as:
- The Happy School District Project
- Donated visitor chairs to MDM Hospital to improve patient and attendant comfort
- Donated computers, printers, water coolers, and stationery items to government schools; and a coffee-making machine to support differently abled children
- Provided carts to support needy individuals in the community
- Donated surgical instruments for the cancer ward at MDM Hospital
In addition, we successfully organized major fundraisers like Cyclothon and Rang Barse, which not only generated vital funds for girl child education but also created greater awareness for our cause while strengthening fellowship among members.
We also extended critical medical support to meet the ever-growing needs of the public healthcare system. The project I was most proud of was donating essential medical supplies and supporting the renovation of the Joint Replacement Ward at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, where we provided Fowler beds, medical mattresses, cardiac tables, and lockers — contributions that proved especially valuable during times of urgent need.
What we accomplished as a team inspires me, and I know the club’s best chapters are still ahead.
Regards,
Past President Rtn. Dr. Neeta Jain
President (2021 – 2022)
Dear President Vibha and fellow Rotarians,
I express all the very best to President Vibha & team for the rotary year ahead. You already bring enthusiasm and determination to build a better club, which I think are outstanding. I’m already enjoying your approach and what you are proposing. You are going to have a fantastic rotary year, and I’m looking forward to work alongside you.
I have beautiful memories of my presidential rotary year. The year made me a true Rotarian. We did 230 projects in the year and all are very unique and near to my heart. I would like to share a particular project which really made me proud — the project we did with the Apnaghar team. We invited 1200 underprivileged children from government schools and hosted them for a complete day at Hotel Shriram International. We arranged lots of games and gifts for these children, served them a variety of lovely food including breakfast & lunch. BSF also joined us with their arms and lovely band to entertain the children. At the end of the day, there were big smiles on all the children’s faces.
Another memorable project was adopting a circle on the National Highway going through Jodhpur city and developing a beautiful park at the circle. We installed a huge Rotary wheel facing the main highway road. This project really built a big image for Rotary and our club in Jodhpur city. We put a lot of effort into getting this circle from the local administration.
President Vibha, we are confident that our club will touch new heights under your able leadership & again wish you and team all the very best for the Rotary year ahead.
Yours in Rotary,
Rtn. Kalpana Chauhan
Past President (2022-2023)
My heartfelt wishes to our inspiring President, Rtn. Dr. Vibha Bhoot, and her dedicated team. I am confident that under her leadership, our club will continue to shine with excellence.
My Rotary journey has been guided by the vision — Educate, Empower, and Enable. Being deeply fond of writing, I transformed this vision into pledges, slogans, and verses that spread awareness and inspired change. The most defining moment of my tenure was leading the Nari Samman Pratigya Abhiyan, administering a pledge I had written to thousands of students, creating a World Record, and earning global recognition for our club. I also had the privilege of organizing the biggest Garba Night of Jodhpur, where actress Jheel Mehta spread awareness about breast cancer through her mother’s inspiring recovery story.
I focused on impactful and sustainable projects such as ramps for the differently-abled, school renovation, construction of girls’ toilets, Silai Kendra, higher education support, medical and eye camps, dialysis aid, water coolers, and plantation drives.
During my tenure, our club achieved record membership growth, enhanced its global public image, and received prestigious awards for outstanding work in the field of women empowerment and girls’ education. Together with my Rotary Sanskar team, I nurtured unity and values. Today, I feel privileged to serve at the District level, carrying this mission forward with renewed energy and commitment.
Yours in Rotary,
Rtn. Tonika Sankhla
Past President (2023-2024)
It gives immense satisfaction when you pass over the baton to President Vibha Di and Taruna Di. As I see the club continuing this journey with enthusiasm and commitment, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that the essence of what we worked for has been carried forward beautifully by succeeding teams.
The most memorable highlight of my tenure was undoubtedly the Floating Musical Concert, the first of its kind in Jodhpur. It was an evening where art, culture, and fellowship came together in the most unique setting, giving our club a distinctive identity in the city. The joy it brought to members and the recognition it created for Rotary remain etched in my heart as a defining moment of my presidency.
Alongside this, several other initiatives gave me immense satisfaction—organizing a picnic for specially abled children, where love and laughter made it truly unforgettable; the redevelopment of a circle in the city, which helped spread awareness about Rotary in a meaningful way; and the plantation drive of nearly 1,000 saplings, which contributed towards creating a greener tomorrow.
Each of these projects reflected the values I held close—fellowship, visibility, and service—and together, they remain my most cherished memories of a truly rewarding Rotary year.
Regards,
Rtn. Purnima Beniwal
Past President (2024-2025)
